An Update

Just a quick update on behalf of Lynne, from her husband....

All is well after a long day in the OR on Tuesday (as anticipated). She came out of surgery at about 7:30 on Tuesday evening and the doctor assured me that all went well. She's currently in recovery and all signs are very good. She's anticipating about a ten-day stay in the hospital.

I'll try to provide another update in the coming days. But for right now, a cold Heineken beckons!

Thanks for the update Bill. I was very anxious to know how she's doing. Get some rest and try to keep us updated -- she has lots of friends on the forum.

Take care,
Chris

Thank you, Bill for updating us. Lynne is a remarkable woman and we have all been praying for her and waiting to hear some good news. I will continue to pray for her recovery and for you, and the boys. Enjoy that beer, with this insane heat, it sounds pretty good right about now!

So glad to hear it went well.
Tell her we're all rooting for her and to take it easy and do what the docs say.

Take care of all of you,
Kat

Glad to hear the news - I was away and thought about her every day!

Please send my love to her and tell her not to try and stretch!

We'll keep checking the blog from this side of the pond for more news when you can - in the meantime - have another cold beer!

Lynne
The worst is over and the recovery begins. Take one day at a time and before you know it, you will be standing straight and tall.
I think of you every day and pray for a speedy recovery.

Glad to hear you're recovering well Lynne :) I'm happy to hear some good news regarding another woman's triumph over evil... I mean, scoliosis.
